We started Steel Magnolia Cattle Co. in 2022, but the roots run much deeper. Megan grew up on a beef cattle farm and always knew she wanted her own herd one day. What began as a love for beautiful, fluffy Highland cows quickly became a way to share farm life with others — and to teach our children the value of hard work, responsibility, and caring for something bigger than themselves.

Handsome Hank is the heart behind our breeding program at Steel Magnolia Cattle Co. With his striking presence, correct confirmation, and thick, fluffy double hair coat, he passes on the look we love... hair, bone and balance.
Beyond his structure and style, his temperament is what truly sets him apart. Hank has a wonderful disposition, a calm confidence, and an easygoing nature with both his people and his ladies. We are proud to have him as our herd sire.
